JG2 losses

I'm looking for any details of four JG2 planes shot down on 16th of April 1942 during Ramrod 20 (it means around 11.30 or after but before 12.00). I recognise four claims that day:
F/O Horbaczewski - one Bf 109 5-6 miles SW Le Havre;
P/O Sologub - two Bf 109s 2-3 miles from Cabourg;
F/O Kudrewicz - one Bf 109 10 miles from Le Havre
plus - this could be very difficult to prove:
W/Cdr Hugo - one Bf 109 damaged over Le Havre

I understand that just JG2 (I./JG2) was involved...

Re: JG2 losses

Eichler was reported crashing in the sea & Rietzler being lost 1530 hrs (German time). I have Uffz Werner Magarin of 1/JG 2 force-landing at Cambiers in an F-4 13012 due to engine failure. That is all JG 2-wise

Robert,
I have this info but... as far as I know W.Nr 8405 was shot down around 5pm; W.Nr 8169 again 5pm and W.Nr 13012 after 7pm....so a lot later than Ramrod 20. Or I'm wrong?

Four "claims" could be far removed from the actual number of combat related losses!

There a short strip of Horbaczewski's gun camera film, which show a ball of smoke with wingtips. According to the pilot, the aircraft disintegrated soon after, but I cannot say if it was visible on the film and if it survives. Nonetheless, I cannot find any tie to German losses.

Hi Peter,

I`m afraid but I have not the time of these losses.
