Re: Photos 1-14
The first two Bf 109 photos depict an a/c flown by Franz-Josef Beerenbrock.
This Fairey Battle is also very interesting: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=110337666012 Notice the odd position of the fuselage roundel and the painted-out serial on the rudder. |
Re: Photos 1-14
Can anyone shed some light on this Ju 88. Odd coding of small FS (is it an s?) and the Large F
I would presume that the swastika was actually painted out as the cross on the fuselage appears blacked out. http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=160310028301 Thanks Ed for the find. |
Re: Photos 1-14
You're welcome, Steven. Here's another view of that Ju-88.
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=160310027656 It does look like small FS next to the large F. Usual disclaimer, Ed |
Re: Photos 1-14
Guys,
The photo of Hptm Fozo appears in Luftwaffe im Focus No 4 and is on page 47 along with anothr from that sequence. http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=380096483759 The notes with the photos refer to the photos being taken on a cold day in spring 1942. |
Re: Photos 1-14
