The first two Bf 109 photos depict an a/c flown by Franz-Josef Beerenbrock.

Notice the odd position of the fuselage roundel and the painted-out serial on the rudder.

Can anyone shed some light on this Ju 88. Odd coding of small FS (is it an s?) and the Large F

I would presume that the swastika was actually painted out as the cross on the fuselage appears blacked out.

Guys,

The photo of Hptm Fozo appears in Luftwaffe im Focus No 4 and is on page 47 along with anothr from that sequence.

The notes with the photos refer to the photos being taken on a cold day in spring 1942.
