Luftwaffe claims on 20/25.05.40
 

Hi everyone,


this time I`m looking for details of following claims:
- 20.05.40 I/JG51 one MS-406 at 13.25 Chauny
- 20.05.40 I/JG21 three MS-406 at 18.20 west of Peronne
- 20.05.40 I/JG53 one Curtiss at 18.35 Noyon
- 25.05.40 III/JG52 one Potez 63 at 13.35 S.S.E Saargemuend
- 25.05.40 II/JG53 one MS-406 at 20.02 ?

Perhaps you should visit the library and loan a copy of Paul Martin's book, would save you a lot of posts. This is meant constructively.

I`m living in Poland. The things here are a little stranger as by you! When I could do it I will not posting so many questions.
Thanks for the tip anyway. Any library in Poland has such books :(.
So I`m dependant on board members help.

Curtiss is n° 86, belly landed in German lines by Sgt Forzy, POW.
Potez 63/11 n° 304, heavily damaged by Flak and German fighters, force landed in flames near Rethel, pilot Adj Rougetet killed, observer Lt Parisot alive with greavious burns, gunner Adj Cardon slighty wonded.

Dont worry about the Paul Martin book in Poland, it's not so easy to found it in France.

This Potez 63.11 was lost on 20.05.40 ;)

On 25.05.1940, Potez 63.11 n° 177 from GAO 553 was shot down at Domfessel, about 20 km south of Sarreguemines (Saargemünd).

On 20.05.40, MB.152 n° 524 from GC I/8 was shot down at about 12:30, lieutenant Navratil baled out over Crisolles. It's possibly MS.406 claimed by I./JG 51 over Chauny

merci bien guys! Nothing about the rest? On 20.05.40 I have three D.520 from GCIII/6. It`s true that they were lost in air combat? If yes where? Which time?

On 20.5.40 GC III/6 was flying MS.406, not D.520. This group didn't suffer any loss this day.

They are probably RAF a/c.
