Ritterkreuzträger ID needed

Hi!

Can anyone identify this fighter pilot wearing RK+EL on this photograph probably taken in Northern Africa or Tunisia?

he seems to be

Oberstleutnant (Lieutenant Colonel) GEORG DÖRFFEL (born July 27, 1914; KIA May 26, 1944). Commander Schlacht-Geschwader 5, Knight's Cross with oakleaves on April 14, 1943. On his 1005th mission (including 30 aerial victories as a dive bomber pilot!) he was shot down and killed north of Rome/Italy. Photo from April 1943. (ftg)
