Luftwaffe Potez claims on 27.05.40
Hi everyone,
I`m looking for possible victims of following Luftwaffe claims: - 27.05.40 II/JG52 one Potez 63 at 19.25 Heiteren - 27.05.40 I/JG53 two Potez 631 at 19.15 and 19.16 west of Noyon I know that French Air Force lost on this day (27.05.40) three MB.152. Somebody knows the details? TIA Regards Robert |

Invisibles Vainqueurs (p. 246), a total of 5 Potez were lost.
Potez 631 from ECN 2/13 at Thiescourt Potez 631 from ECN 4/13 at Château-Thierry (also strafed after ditching) Potez 63-11 from GAR I/55 at Heiteren (Flak) Potez 63-11 from GAO 1/506 at Saint-Jean de Narville (emergency landing). Potez 63-11 from GAO 510 at Chaussoy-Epagny (Flak and fighters) |

Potez 63.11 n° 679 GR II/55, damaged by Flak over Rhine and shot down by II./JG 52. Crew safe
Potez 63.11 n° 623 GAO 510, damaged by Flak and shot down by I.(J)/LG 2. Pilot & observer baled out, gunner killed. Aéro Journal n° 43 |

GC I/8, fight with Bf 109s at about 8:00 MB.152 n° 555 exploded in flight, caporal-chef Kralik (CZ) killed MB.152 n° 236 shot down, adjudant Castel baled out wounded over Le Quesnel MB.152 n° ? severely damaged, returned to base, sous-lieutenant Gouachon-Noireault safe. Plane probably written off. |
