the only thing i have from code is
T6+

it was a B1 from stukageschwader 2 (st.G.2
crashed 12 may 1940
crew oberleutnant Dieter Pekrun
unteroff heinrich Bassler

Interesting.
Where did you get the name of the observer/gunner, ObLt Pekrun? Peter Cornwell does'nt mention a name (other than the pilot Uffz Heinrich Basler). And in a previous 12OCH threat the name of the 2nd crew member was suggested as Uffz Johann-Heinrich Lange.
Any details?

By the way, the aircraft was of Stab I./St.G.2, which means that the code should have been T6+?B.

after looking to my doc its indeed that unit but before it was III/162 if i am correct , i would lik
e to know were there home base was during that time
the name of Pekrun was given to me by another member who has organized the dig of that plane but how he get that name i don't know i can always ask it.
do you have any info on that Pekrun?
