Philippines WW II

Hi there,

any suggestion where I can get informations about aircraft losses at the Philippines in WW II - US and Japanese ?

Got the USAAF Losses (MACR) but this are also incomplete.

Maybe somebody out there with a similar interest ?

Regards

Mike

You did not state what period you were looking for, 1941-42 or 1944-45. Assuming the former, you might read Doomed From The Start, a history of the USAAF fighter operations in the Phillipines in 41-42, Bloody Shambles Volumes 1 and 2 by Chris Shores, et al which covers the period, and McArthur's Pearl Harbor, Dec 8th 1941, about the preparations and losses in Phillipine operations the first few days after Pearl Harbor.
