Oblt. "Rudi" Rademacher

Good afternoon: Wondering if anyone could provide any further career details on Oblt. "Rudi" Rademacher, Gruppe T.O. of I/ ZG76 in 1939/40( there are photo's of him In the John Vasco/ Peter Cornwell book "Zerstorer" pg.41, and in the Nauroth/ Held book " Bf110 on all fronts", pg. 30). His rank suggests that this is not the better known Rudolf Rademacher of JG54/JG7 (97-102 Vic's depending on the source). Any Info on this pilot would be appreciated. Thanks. Dean

Dean,

He made at least one claim that I know of, namely a PZL P-24 on 9.09.39 (found in Jerzy Cynk's book Polskie Lotnoctwo Mysliwskie w Boju Wrzesniowym).

Regards,
Tom

Hi,

just a small correction:
02.44 Hptm., appt Kdr. NSGr. 12 (Lett.) (to c. 15.09.44).
This was Hptm. Friedrich Rademacher, not Hugo!

Best regards,

Christian

So.... Not the same man, or known by a different name? Curious... Dean
