Hurricane Z5145
Does anybody have any information on the fate of Hurricane Z5145?
Many thanks in advance. Trevor |

According to Air Britains RAF Aircraft X1000-X9999/Z1000-Z9999, your Z5145 collided with Z5864 (a BlenheimIV) over Lybster, Caithness on 27.8.1941. It was not struck off charge until 3.10.1944 so it seems to have lingered on somewhere perhaps waiting to be repaired, which never took place. Cheers Stig |

If you can provide any clues as to a "link" with your interest in this serial number I may be able to find something - as previously. For example, if you have something more tangible like a date (presumably 1941??) then I can possibly help and will be happy to do so. |
