Red Cross Casualty Archives - Geneva
I have just been alerted to this by John Hayes-Fisher at the BBC -
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7940540.stm This sounds a potentially invaluable research resource. |

Andy
I heard this on Radio 4 this morning, and to be honest when it said 'British Historian' I thought it may be you, to do with the Mannock Time Watch programme! Paulo |
Re: Red Cross Casualty Archives - Geneva
Well, it has been brought forward as a possible source to maybe clarify or shed more light on that particular mystery. However, it has much wider implications as a resource for further research on a multitude of casualties. One hopes that the archive will not be limited as regards to personal details as per the legislative restrictions on access imposed on some data in the UK and Germany, for instance.
