II./LG1. 26-27 Oct.1940

An aircraft of II./LG1 claimed to have bombed blast-furnaces in Middlesbrough on the night of 26-27 October 1940. Does anyone have further details?

A quick check of my record shows II/LG 1 attacking Liverpool/Birkenhead & Coventry that night but no mention of Middlesborough

Thanks, Chris. My information comes from Eingegangene Meldungen Generalstab Luftwaffe for that date but incomplete ARP records for the area have so far prevented confirmation.
