Mig 15 salvaged by HMS Cardigan Bay and others

Does anybody have information about the Mig 15 parts which were salvaged by UN forces (HMS Cardigan Bay and LSU 960) in late Julf 1951 offshore SW Hanchon, NK? What happend to all those parts? Do you know of any reports given the results of examination? Same questions for other Mig 15 parts recovered by ATIC from NK soil?

I have an original copy of "Evaluation and Analysis of the Il-10 Soviet Airplane" of Cornell Aeronautical Laboratory. A same type of report must have been prepared for the Mig 15.

Regards,

Batur

Batur,

According this website http://www.usswhetstone.net/publishn...402/page8.html

the Mig was off-loaded at Inchon and after a preliminary check whisked off to the US (Wright-Patterson AFB) for further analysis.

Thanks Leendert. Though I have made some search at Google, I did not see this page. It is one of the most detailed texts I have ever found on this operation. Thanks again.
