Need unit,crew info++ ..several aircrafts
Hi !
Here is a list with some plane codes I need more info about,got a little info about some of them. Pictures is also something i need.. Junkers Ju 88 U4 + TK 4D + EM 4D + AM Heinkel He 111 6N + NH Junkers Ju 52 RO + AU Junkers Ju 87 Stuka A5 + FH Will appreciate any info I can get from you guys Cheers ! John |

John, the aircraft codes are not linked to one aircraft, as one aircraft of that code was written off or lost the code would be applied to its replacement. I have note of a Ju88 of 4/KG40 code 4D+AM lost over England on 21/22-3-44 its individual werk nummer was 300500, would that link to one you are looking for,

All of the aircrafts should be lost at Jonsvatnet sea in April 1940,but I only have confimed U4 + TK (17th April),6N + NH (20th April) and RO + AU(date unknown). Have pictures of 4D + AM up side down on the iced lake. Also looking for a ME109 that also were lost at the scene,this can be found laying up side down on a British recon photo. A Aradao 196 were also lost in this area ,but I don`t know the year,all crew dead. John Fredrik |

Hello...
Don't know if you've seen these pics, but there's a wealth of additional info you can see if you go to google and type this in: Jonsvatnet he111 and Ju88. The first three sites listed alone give some great photos of salvage and at least a couple of wartime pics I hadn't seen before. The undernoted were posted here a long time back... hope they're of interest. Kindest regards... Paul |

Have spend hours and hours on Google and I feel I have seen it all. Lucky for me I live right next to Jonsvatnet and I am borned and raised here. Hoping for some conversation with old people with first hand experience about what happend here. This photo showes the crew of one Heinkel He -111 at Jonsvatnet lake in early April 1940.
The plane was coded 6N + DK and if it servived the Norwegian campaign it was lost over Sturminister Newton on the night 14/15.June 1941. All crew KIA.. Can anybody confirm this info? |

John: Remember that there were many 6N+DK but only the Wk Nr changes
