Need Information on Hauptmann G. DRESSE

HI!

I bought part of an estate, which was of a former pilot by the name of G. Dresse. He had the rank of Hauptmann. In this collection was a Dive Bomber Squadron Clasp...so I suspect he was a Ju87 or Ju88 pilot?

Does anyone have any information?

In our database of 27,000 Luftwaffe officers, we have no one by the name of G. Dresse. Are you certain of the spelling? Any clues about the unit?

The closest we have are:

DRESE, ? . 16.08.44 Hptm., III./NJG 6.
DRESSLER, Georg. (DOB: 06.10.92). 01.09.39 IIa/Luftgaukdo. VI (still 03.45). 01.04.42 promo to Oberst.
