4th FG Pics Needed
Gentlemen,
I'm in need of any and all pics of P-51Bs of the 4th Fighter Group. Gentile's "Shangri-La" are easy to find but others are not. Thanks in advance. ;) Graf |

Re: 4th FG Pics Needed
Graf,
I too would love photos of early 4th FG P-51 B's. My Father, Cecil Manning flew P-51B 43-6887 WD-H. I have no photos of this aircraft. Louis Norley, "RED DOG" was my Father's room mate at Debden. May Father and "Red" went to London after the first Berlin raid on 4 Mar 1944 to give a radio interview. There was a recording of this broadcast and I would love to find a copy if it still exists. My Father went down on the second Berlin show 6 Mar 1944 to become a POW. |
