Details sought re: 239 Sqn claim of Bf110 22/23.3.1944
I've just finished reading Bowman & Cushing's excellent book "Confounding the Reich" (The RAF's secret war of electronic countermeasures in WWII).
They list a claim on 22/23.3.44 by S/L E.W. Kinchin and F/L D. Sellers flying a type II Mosquito of 239 Squadron for a Bf 100 near Frankfurt. Does anyone have any details on this claim? Many thanks Robert |

There is a loss of a Bf 110 from 10./N.J.G. 3 at Langendiebach a/f during landing. Crashed due fire from enemy n/f. All of the crew were wounded.
