31 August 1940 late afternoon - which units?
 

Hi,

On 31 August 1940 late afternoon (about 18 p.m.) Luftwaffe attacked British airfields, f.e. Biggin Hill. I'm loking for information which German units made this attack.

Hi,

Hornchurch had been attacked by I./KG76 protected by JG3,52,26 and ZG26 and Biggin Hill by KG1 escorted by II./ZG76 and I./JG51.
If you will ask, which German unit had been attacked by 303 Sqn - it would be a very good question :-))

It's a very good question about 303 Squadron. ;)

What about LG 2 which lost at afternoon one Me 109 (pilot Oblt. Hasso von Perthes )? What kind of task had this unit those time?
