He111 crash in Iceland ???

Did a He111 of the II.KG40 ,?? crashed at Krossans Iceland on 21/22. Mai 1941...

Yes, yes, well known H-5 3900 F8+GM 4./KG 40 at 02:00 hrs 22.05.41.
actually, Snæfugl, Krossanesfjall, north-east entrance to Reyðarfjörður.

Note: 4./KG 40, was part of I Gruppen, Norwegian Detachment (with 2./KG 40)

(Not II Gruppen as such - as that became the Do 217 E unit and was still in training then.)
