Hi all

At 9. March 1945 the B-17 G / 43-37789 from 96 BG / 413 BS was shot down by an attack against Frankfurt/M. nearby the target at Gelnhausen (East Frankfurt/M.)
The pilot of these aircraft was Lt Fox Jr.
Nine peoples of the crew was POW, one was killed.
Does anybody knows the name of the rest of the crew ?

Thank you in advance

JoMe,
if you're interested, I could send you scans of MACR 12958 - just drop me a PM.

Do you know the exact crashside of this a/c? I'm asking this because the crashplaces of all B-17 losses from 09.03.45 are known to me - exept these from 96.BG.

Hi Heuser

The crashplace of this B-17 G was in the wood nearby the city of Gelnhausen, on a hill named Schnepfenkopf (323m).

best wishes
