D-OPCO

I found on the net this small photo, that shows a combat aircraft type I cannot readily identify. It has the German registration D-OPCO; however, I have a feeling that it might not be a German design.

Can someone solve this small mystery?

Thanks,

Re: D-OPCO

It's the prototype of the Czech bomber Letov S-50. The a/c has been tested after the Czech occupation and displayed with the registration D-OPCO on exibition in Brüssel.

Best wishes

Re: D-OPCO

Thank you, Rasmussen, for the clue.
That makes sense, as the aircraft in the foreground appears to be an Avia B.35/135 fighter.

Re: D-OPCO

Of course, a machine in the foreground (without any national marking) is an Avia B.35.3 fighter prototype (later under name B-135.1) displayed in Salon de l´Aeronautique in Brussel, July 1939.
