Any info on this II/KG53 crew?
 

Gentlemen,

This crew of II/KG53 was captured by Soviet forces on June 22, 1944, when their He-111 landed on enemy territory as a result of navigation error.
Here are names of captured (wrong spelling can occure due to double translation from Russian):
Ofw. Heinrich Brumme
Fw. Dersch
Teeder
Schneider
Zipfe

Who can advise what was loss report on this crew, w.n. etc.?

Hi Nikita,

Kiehl's lost list only reports the following info:

21.6.44 Uffz. Otto Schneider, Bordmechaniker, 4th Staffel, Absturz, Vermisst

No mention of the other names in your list.

Maybe someone with another loss-list can provide more info on this crew.

Thanks. However, I have Kiehl's book and it does not give any definite answer on how this case was reported. I guess, maybe someone has WASt info on this crew...
