Photo He111 "G1+I?" and Bf110E "S9+??", help pls
 

Hi all!

It is well known photo, showing Bf110E of ZG1(SKG 210), with He111 on background. I want to locate date (winter 41/42 or 42/43? - if that "whiteness" is snow at all :) ) and airfield of this photo.

He111 has 1G+I?, so it could be KG55? Does anybody have better quality of that photo, to read 4th sign of code. It will give us number of Gruppe. List of bases of KG 55 does exist, so it could be compare with list of SKG 210/ZG 1 bases.

Bf110E have sign undersurfaces, like "I" or "L".

1G code is KG27 not KG55 and I think, that the Heinkel's painted-out underwing last letter could be a Y.

I think it is the same 3rd sign "I" in white. 4rd sign is seen on the fuselage, but quality of this image is low, and I cannot read it.
