AIR LEAGUE "YOUNG PILOTS" BADGE
 

Can any Forum member identify the Air League "Young Pilots" badge. I have seen a reference to it having been awarded during 1936 but have been unable to trace a picture of this item of insignia.

Any further information relating to the insignia worn by this organisation and also that of the pre-war Civil Air Guard would be extremely helpful. I am especially keen to know if those taught to fly wore different insignia from those who were pupils under training.

Attached pic shows an air league badge I have in my collection.
I don't think it's the young pilots badge that you have requested.
I also have a members certificate from the same period.

Thank you for the very interesting picture. I too have no idea if this is the Young Pilots Badge. Perhaps Forum members may have an opinion.
