Re: Bf 109 F-2 WNr 6724

Hi

I have these entries that might help solve the mystery:

5764:
http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_pub...?lossid=128180

6724:
http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_pub...?lossid=122972
http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_pub...?lossid=122222

There might be further losses in non frontline units, but as I haven't yet entered all available training unit losses in the database I cannot state this for certain.

Regards,
Andreas B

Re: Bf 109 F-2 WNr 6724

Hi, Rene

Yes, the aircraft was a F-2 from the start, but in both these losses registered as a F-4.

The non-members (open) pages does not reflect this, in the members section you get an indication that the aircraft was reported with another subtype than it was originally built as (very frequent with early Bf 109E's converted to E-7 standard)
