March 31, 1945 332nd FG Luftwaffe Fighter Opponents

On March 31,1945, the 332nd FG fought two combats with Luftwaffe fighters, claiming 13 Luftwaffe fighters,mostly Bf-109s but with some FW-190s.

Does anyone know the identity of the Luftwaffe unit (Hungarians?). I was thinking it could be one of the KG(J) fighter units?

Your hunch is apparently correct. KG(J)6 lists 9 Bf109s lost to P-51s and 4 others to unknown causes.

I. and II./KG(J) 6 encountered 31st FG over Central Bohemia on this day. I don´t know where 332nd FG claimed.
