Re: Loss of three Bomber-KC holders in the mediterranean theatre

Fantastic! Many thanks to all !!!
But there are two different places for the loss of HANS EBERSBACH.
In Chris´post it is Saint-Martin-de-Crau in Southern France (near Arles), in Scherzer's KC holder-book it's St.Marti Sarroca near Barcelona/Spain !

What´s the right place? I believe the first one.

Re: Loss of three Bomber-KC holders in the mediterranean theatre

The NVM gives the location and time which matches with the 108 Sqn combat report and as Doug says, he is buried in France.....

Could you inform the name of the crew and acft serial number involved in shooting down the Ju 88 of Ebersbach?
Yours
Adriano

You will have to wait until December as my records are at home. Failing that, the details are in Sea Eagles Vol 2 if I remember correctly
