Lancaster R5700 of 9 Squadron FTR

Hi,
Lancaster R5700 of 9 Squadron RAF failed to return from raid on Hannover night of 22/23 September 1943 and crashed 25km S.W.of Hannover.
Can anyone supply details of this - was it shot down by Nightfighter or Flak.
I would be very interested to know as my father Sgt.V.J.Lander was the rear gunner on this aircraft

Cheers

In "Nachtjagd War Diaries, vol. 1", Theo Boiten lists Lancaster R5700 as the possible victim of Fw. Hermann Wischnewski of 3./JG 300. His claim was for a Halifax at 2500m over Hannover at 22:37 that night.
