Prompts the thought - did they ever recover Sgt Smith who we lost in 1941? I don't recall a burial.

This is sad, makes you wonder how many others are still out there....

Sgt Smith was buried overlooking Veanga sound. Also buried there were the two ground crew personnel of 134Sn that were killed when they were on the tailplane and P/O Vic Berg took off.

Have no idea if they were repatriated or whether they are still buried at the military cemetery.
