Hello,

has anybody a photo of P-51D, Serial No. 44-14609 or
from the pilot Lt. Thomas A. Kneifel, 361Fg, 375FS?
POW near Koblenz / Germany after short fuel shortage at 14.2.1945. MACR 12331.

Hello Rúdiger,

Aircraft was named "Vixen" came down near Berkum .
Ref:Fighter Losses of the Mighty Eighth.

Photo of Kneifel in "Little Friends" by Steve Gotts (page 125).
Text seems to suggest that he bailed. quote: "was forced to abandon his plane near Koblenz".
