T/E claims by USAAF on June 20, 1944

Hi all

I am looking for info about USAAF (8th or 9th, as 15th had no operational day). ZG 76 lost 3 planes that day due to the enemy in area of Bernburg and Osmersleben. But I am not familiar with any claims or combat. Can anyone check for me claim of USAAF fighters fro Bf 110, Me 410 or any twin engine a/c that day?
THANKS

Thanks a lot...
These were of ZG 26 mostly...hard to find out if ZG 76 was involved as well...
But it helps. Thanks

Additional question.
Do we (someone) know which Fighter Groups escorted B-17s to Magdeburg?
Thanks

Peter I believe the 355th engaged either I. or II./ZG76 in that clash near Rugen and Pommersche Bucht. They also engaged a large number of escorting 109s (and FW 190s)... probably from III./JG300?

About 0900 to 0930 - escorting B-24s to Ostermoor and Politz. The 4th FG relieved the 354 and 357FS/355th on the Politz strike while the 358FS stayed with the Ostermoor force.

Hi Drgondog,

On the norths ZG 26 was active...Attacking B-24s...
ZG 76 was preparing to attack B-17s heading to Magdeburg, but were surprised by 352.FG...
Thanks for input.
