UK Airfield Attack 11 Jan 41
 

During the morning of 11 Jan 41, Oblt Forster of 3/123, returning from a recce mission to Manchester, reported to have attacked Bassingbourn damaging or destroying at least 3 training aircraft. John Foreman reports that a Bf 110 attacked Bramcote doing the same thing. Can anyone confirm one way or another which airfield was attacked that morning and what was the damage?

For those who are interested, it was Basingbourne not Bramcote. Oblt Edmund Forster flying a Bf 110 of 3/123 attacked from 60' at 1155 hrs damaging two Wellingtons
