USAAF reconnaissance missions over Western Hungary
 

I am looking for info (and, of course, photos) of USAAF reconnaissance missions over Hungary, particularly in the Sopron area (Western Hungary).
I already know what's on Footnote, but that's about it.
Any pointers would be helpful.

It can be found as a dl on the net.

There is a very good chance that reconnaissance imagery of the Sopron area survives -either the original roll film, or diapositives, or dianegatives, or (in the UK) contact prints or copy negs. From the point of view of costs and flexibility, I would strongly suggest that you get in touch with the US National Archives, (Archives 2), Adelphi Park Road, where -if you are lucky- you will be able to get prints from the original film.
