Me 110 werknumber 740647
During a transferflight from St-Trond Belgium to Dortmund on September 1st 1944 Me Bf 110 WNr-740647 from IV/NJG 1 was lost near Genk Belgium.
The crew were : Uffz Krebs A ( WIA ) Uffz Schmälze R ( WIA ) Obgfr Tröster R ( WIA ) Obgfr Klöber E ( WIA ) 1 wart. Can someone help me with their first names |

Thanks gentleman for the help, i don't know were the 4th man took place in the aircraft, but remember this flight took place a few days before US troops liberated the town off St-Trond , so i think it wasn't a normal flight.

According to Balss 12./NJG 1 lost three 110's to raiding P-47's shorty after take off. All three carried four men onboard. The "fourth" man seems to have been a member of their ground crew. Probably all the escaping 110's carried a fourth man onboard that day. Now if you can get some 20+ figures into a Volksvagen, I presume it is possible to squeeze in (somewhere) a fourth man inside a BF 110.... Cheers Stig |

The fouth man was the 1.Wart , usual in that case, the man the nearer of the crew nd...of the plane
