Soumagne Communal Cemetery, Belgium
Hi all,
I'm looking for info regarding Sgt (Pilot) Peter Garratt ROSE, RAFVR, of 1 Photographic Sq. He was shot down on 3 May 1941 aged 25 and rests in the communal cemetery at Soumagne, east of Liège, Belgium. Does someone out there know the type of aircraft he was flying that day, his target, departure airfield (Benson ?) and all relevant details about him, the sole British casualty buried in Soumagne. Thanks in anticipation from a new member. Halibag3 |
