Attack on Scottish Airfield in 1940

Sometime in 1940 either a single JU88 or HE111 did a low level Bombing and Straffing attack on 8FTS at RAF Edzell, Montrose Scotland. Two men were killed and three injured.

Does anyoune have details on this attack. Date , time , type used , crew list etc...

This would have been 25 oct 40 when Cpl J L Greenslade, FS R D Griffin, LAC J A Rae, LAC H D Sandford and LAC J H Watson were killed in an air attack at Montrose, 1825 hrs. It was apparently carried out by II/KG 26
