Hello,

I research information on Uffz. Franz Schreiner, 10./JG 27. MIA 26 July 44.
Three holder or four victories ?

Is it possible to obtain more information on the mission of 26 July the day of its loss.
MIA in combat ?

Hi,

I have:

"MIA during escort flight to recce a/c in the area of St.Malo".
Victories:

14.06.44 P-47 Lisieux 12.13
22.06.44 P-47 30 km west of Flers 14.05
22.06.44 P-47 Caumont 14.28
18.07.44 P-51 west of Flers 14.10

Yes.
They lose 2 more from 12/JG27: Fw.Edmund Wieland (badly wounded) and Fw.Josef Reseneder (KIA) were s/d in air combat west of Caen (the first crashed in area of Montbray the second in Mayenne with G-6 W.Nr. 163532).
