Stuka Bases on May 1940
 
Hi friends
On 14th may 1940 Profondeville (Namur area, Belgium) had havy bombing.
Artillery french colums were completely destroyes.
I'm looking for infos about the bases from where these Stukas did coming.
Where in Germany or Belgium at this date.

I./StG77 were operating from Merzbruck, north-east of Aachen, between May 12 - 15, 1940.

Some additional information:

Aachen-Merzbrück (GER) (50 49 20 N – 06 11 15 E)
General: airfield 8 km NE of Aachen in North Rhine – Westphalia. 1932 Flughafen II. 1940 Einsatzhafen for the campaign in the West, then little used until 10.43. Taken over by the USSAF on 14.03.45.
Air Units: IV.(Stuka)/LG 1 (16.05.40 - ?); I./St.G. 77 (11.-16.05.40); et al.
Station Units:

Little is known about Luftwaffe's use of this airfield after the campaign in the West. Additional information would be appreciated.
