B24 losses

Seeking info on the following B24's - Group's; Squadron's; Crew names; loss dates ; MACR numbers; Links to photographs would also be welcome. B24D 41-11820 B24D 41-23891 B24D 42-40977 B24J 42-51929 B24H 42-94800 B24H 42-94829 And Confirmation on details of - B24L 44-49937 Said to have been at Walnut Ridge ARK on 14/1/1946, any info on this welcome, photo ref or document's ? And B24M 44-50261 Said to have been at Kingman AZ on 7/1/1946, again any info/photo ref or documentation welcome. Thanks Alex |

42-94800 was with 700BS 445BG coded IS*S 450506. Source 445BG web site.

makes it clear. Have simular question on B24BW site, and reply re one a/c states it went down in the N/sea a few days before the date that has been set as landing in USSR so question is open on all of those I listed. As they all are supposed to have been used by the Russian AF some up to 1948, details from Red Stars 4. Thanks again Alex |

That seem to go along with what I found about 41-11820. All I had was that it was forced down in Siberia (Siberia?). No circumstances and no date. That's the reason I didn't mention it.Walt

Sept 11, 1943
B-24 40-2355 MACR 12420 also landed in the area/around where 41-23891 emergency landed. And also in same area 41-23890 MACR 3263. |
