Does anyone know from which airfields the aircraft of these Unit took-off, when they attacked the aircraft factory site at Brooklands on 4th September, 1940??

Erprobungsgruppe 210, from their base at Denain to their forward airfield at Calais-Marck. From there, over to England.

ErpGr.210 was based at Denain on September 4, 1940, but took-off from its forward airfield at Calais-Marck for the attack on Brooklands. V.(Z)/LG1 was based at Ligescourt.

John, Peter:

Thank-you both very much for your prompt replies; I'm over at the Brooklands Museum atm, and discussing the Raid with colleagues!!!
