Looking through the Werknummer error log in the database again... anyone got a full Werknummer for the Bf 109 G listed as Werknummer 1362 in the Generalquartiermeister loss list?

Unfortunately neither Fast nor Prien can add anything to the incomplete werknummer of this particular loss. According to Fast this incident occurred at Gigant, 160 kilometers east of Rostow. Another example of an incomplete werknummer that I can think of is that of Oberfeldwebel Hermann Schleinhege (97 victories, RK) of Stab/JG 54 on 19 August 1943 [Fw 190 A-6 "Yellow 3" (W.Nr. 530 35?)].

For that date it had to be a Bf 109G-2.
