OTU or HCU loss May 1943

Hello gentlemen ,
I'm looking for a crew/plane ditch on the British coast on 17 May 1943 , most probably from a OTU . One crew member was Raymond Griggs , later missing with 408 Sq on 8 June 1944 . Could a nice nice fellow help , maybe with Chorley's book on OTU losses ?
Thank you,
Zorglub

Re: OTU or HCU loss May 1943

F/Sgt (WOp/Ag) Raymond GRIGGS - 177073 went missing 8-6-1944 on Lancaster LL643 of 408 Squadron. On same aircraft (all crew missing) was W/OČ (Nav) John A. INVERARITY - RCAF R/123705 (P/O J/86381). INVERARITY survived an accident 17-5-1943 on Whitley V serial BD204 of 24 OTU (engine problems; crashlanded on mudflats near Rhyl, Flintshire - 17.45 hrs).
Chorley in his Vol.7, page 221, mentions only two names for the Whitley; besides INVERARITY also the pilot, Sgt J.W. CLARK.
GRIGGS, you're looking for, may also have been on Whitley BD204, although not confirmed by Chorley.

Henk.
