Allied air drops
 

Does anyone know about agents being dropped into Poland during the Warsaw Uprising in August 1944? I know about Operation Wildhorn and Third Bridge - and that often a stripped out Dakota was used. Were any agents dropped over Poland from Halifaxes or Liberators while they were on supply missions? If any agents were dropped, could this be the reason for the missing ORBS for Polish Special Duties Flight 1586. Any information or views on this?
