Luftwaffe nightfighter shot down June 1941

In the Aeroplane special magazine "Great British Bombers" it details an early war RAF raid to Aachen by 106 Squadron on 10-11th June 1941.
In the article, the author's rear gunner in his Hampden is credited with the destruction of a 110 that they hit and saw crash and explode.

Did the Luftwaffe loose any fighters that night and if so, do you have any ideas who and what unit this kill could have been?

Short answer Tapper, no.

No recorded Luftwaffe losses that night.

Interesting, the author says that several crews saw the exchange of fire and the crash on the ground. One RAF bomber was lost that night so I assume that was what they thought was the Nightfighter.

The RAF gunner. Sgt Hunter got credited with the kill. His first operational flight, however i suppose in making the 110 break off he did his job anyway.

Thanks

Jon
