Walter Binder of JG3 - any photos exist?

Walter Binder of JG3

Searching for a picture of this gentleman. His 109 came down in my great Aunt's back garden in Ann Street, Plumstead. 30.08.40

Also: Oberleutnant Julius Haase, the Staffelkapitän of 3 Staffel, JG 53. His crash (15.9.40) site is more or less behind my house. Anyone know of pictures of him?

We seem to attract them!

Any help appreciated.

Regards
Zwit

I don't have it to hand but I think there is a photo of Haase in my book 'Brothers in Arms'

At this point no pictures but Mason's book makes reference to an Oblt. Julius Jase, St. Kap. of 3/JG53. He was shotdown and killed while flying a Bf-109 E-4(1590).

Yes, it's on page 132.

Am I correct in assuming that the name Jase found in Mason's book should be spelled Haase? Or are they two different people?

Morning to all,

I don't have Masons book, but looking through Prien's first volume about the story of JG 54 I can find a Oblt. Julius Haase as St.Kap. of 3./JG 53.
He was shot down during an air battle on 15/9/40 and crashed near Biggin Hill. I. and II./JG 53 flew a close escort mission for bombers to London.
Oblt. Haase jumped from his stricken 109E, but his chute failed to open.
There is no mention of a pilot called Jase.
Kind Regards,

Dirk

Looks like a bad spelling in MAson's book.
