P47D-28-RA 42-29150 K4-S 'Dottie Mae' - RESTORATION

Hi all

The restoration is going really well.

Newsletter No1 was out last month. Lots of questioned answered about the P47, the name and the main pilot.

Also attaching a few photos showing the airframe (from July). The structure is in amazing condition. Stamps and writing is being replicated. Skins seem to have suffered the worst though important painted panels will be put on display and other hopefully reused.

Beautiful aircraft.
