Georg-Peter Eder
I found an information about him, as he injured slipping in black-ice at parchim, then broke his 2 legs by jumping-out , who has a bit more data on these 2 events ??

Georg-Peter Eder
Hi Remi
All that I can add is that I have read that on 17 February 1945 his Me 262 was hit south of Bremen by bomber return fire and he was forced to bale out during which he struck the machine and suffered a broken left leg and head injuries. He later returned to combat duty with III./EJG 2 in April 1945. This is rather different than the version where he was shot down by USAAF fighters on 22 January 1945 and did not return to combat duty. Who can add more? Horrido! Leo |
Re: Georg-Peter Eder
The two events 11.jan nd 17.febr. , seems that on 17.febr. he belly landed...

Re: Georg-Peter Eder
I was looking into this 22 January event and couldn't make it work. He indeed evacuated his Me 262 A-1a (W.Nr. 110778) after it was damaged by bomber return fire on 17 February. Thank Leo, you helped me ten years later :D
