Looks to be another fascinating bio from Kurt Braatz's 296 Verlag. The title in German is 'Unbekannte Pflicht' - 'unbekannte Pflicht' is a compulsory category -or discipline - of aerobatic class, which the participants are not given the opportunity to rehearse and in this context is a reference to Wolfrum's post-war career as one of Germany's best aerobatic pilots..the last quarter of the book deals with his post-war experiences. There are page extracts to read at www.neunundzwanzigsechs.de

The title was just delivered.

Usual high quality 29/6 publishing.

312 pages

16-29p youth

30-170p war, training and being a fighter pilot

172-289p post war, pow, aerobatics and other interesting insights etc.

victory listing, selected bibliography, "vocabulary" and index round things off.

Can't wait to start reading it in ernest.

Unlike previous work this seems to have been published under the name of Peter Cronauer instead of Kurt Braatz.
