Not your answer, but this is the 1000th new thread in the Luftwaffe forum since the move.

Thanks all!!

No idea how many posts were made on the old Server.com forum.

A couple of possible suggestions based on entries within the LEMB Sktz Database http://www.luftwaffe-experten.org/stammkennzeichen.html are DL+?? or SL+??

DL+U?
DL+UI - Kl35 of LKS 3
DL+UK - Kl35 of LKS 3

SL+U?
SL+UW - Kl35

Thank you for that info Peter!

If I could only see any part of the first letter...

If you would like to, you can add this code in the list of uncompleted codes on your web page. This Kl 35 was used by 15.(kroat.)/JG 52 in spring of 1943 and I strongly believe that this plane is Werk Nummer 3279.

Interesting site. BTW, the listing is incomplete (I've only read Tx+xx so far). For instance, Ju 87 V10 TK+HD W.Nr.4928 belonged to E-Stelle Travemünde (catapult-assisted take-off and arrestor hook trials). I don't know why but many a/c belonging to E-Stelle Travemünde had Stammkennzeichen beginning with a T (TH+??, TI+?? or TK+??).

As stated in the "purpose of this site" section of the LEMB Sktz homepage...

"As this is a huge work in progress, there will be mistakes, duplications and omissions. This is where we welcome your input..."
