Book recommendation: "41 Sekunden bis zum Einschlag"
 

The author, Mr. Deumling, describes his training as a bomber pilot for the Luftwaffe, posting to KG 100 to fly Fritz X equipped Do 217's, his first (and only) combat sortie when his bomber managed to hit the Italian BB Roma, and the inactivity till the end of the war.
Not much of interest for modellers, but a lot of historical information on the Luftwaffe.
