254 Sqn 21st June 1940 Conflicting info?
 

3 Blenheims from 254 Sqn escorted 2 Sunderland flying-boats (204 Sqn) on a convoy patrol on the 21st June 1940.

Shortly afterwards the 3 Blenheims broke away to engage a single e/a.

Conflicting information on AIR27 ORB I've been sent through?

One source gives the e/a as a He. 115
Then on the summery Do. 217

The 204 Sqn ORB said the Blenheims engaged Do.18?

The Sunderlands were then in an air-battle with Ju. 88's after 254 Sqn left.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have N, R & Q of 254 Sqn damaging a He 115 at 0655 hrs and A, K & M having an inconclusive combat with a Do 18 at 1355 hrs which resulted in M's AG being wounded at A's AG being killed. A/204 sqn had a combat with 4 x Bf 109s claiming to have destroyed 1 at 1520-1620 hrs
